Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Let me start this the way I started my last blog post that was quite a while ago, eek. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, uni took over for a while but I'm on holidays for about 4 months so no more excuses, I'm going to be organised! (Hopefully!)

Anyway, Christmas is right around the corner, only 4 weeks away, wow! So it's time to start decking ourselves in everything Christmas! Christmas in Australia is actually more like walking in a desert, rather than a winter wonderland, however, that won't stop me from pretending its a winter wonderland and not the desert! I love everything that reminds me of a winter wonderland so when I saw this set from OPI I immediately wanted to get my mitts on it! This set is designed by Mariah Carey owner of one of the best Christmas songs All I want for Christmas is you, which immediately pops into my head whenever I see the box. The set contains three of OPI's mini bottles, which I love, love, love! The set contains a blue, silver and black polish, each one of these polishes is glittery with tiny silver glitter and larger glitter throughout it which immediately makes me think of Christmas. As well as this, as an added bonus, these polishes are designed to be textured, as if I didn't already love them enough!

There is another set that contains different colours from the range, however, I wasn't really a fan of those particular colours so I settled on these ones. As usual, they are good quality and last a reasonably long time in typical OPI style. So if you're looking for a bit of Christmas dazzle, check out this range because it's such a unique set.

What nail polishes are you loving for Christmas? Are you all excited with Christmas right around the corner?

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Hey Lovelies!

I am SO sorry I haven't posted in a LONG time, Slap me on the wrist! I have been really busy and have been feeling really unmotivated lately and I don't want to give you guys something that I'm not happy with. I should be back in full swing and now that Uni is back I will be feeling more motivated.

Anyway... On to what is this post is actually about, The Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette!

Last month was my 18th birthday and one of my lovely friends, Izzy bought me the Naked Basics and I love it. Urban Decay is definitely known for their eyeshadows and in particular the Naked Palettes.

I have heard really good things about this palette and it definitely does not disappoint. It is the perfect eyeshadow palette for everyday which includes a matte black that I like to use as an eyeliner. The eyeshadows are really smooth and soft and very pigmented which I think is like all Urban Decay but this are my first from the brand so I can't be sure, but these eye shadows are worth giving a go. I am a fan of neutral colours for my eyes, so this really is the perfect palette for me with my favourite being the shade Naked 2, which must be in the naked 2 palette judging from the name. If you are a fan of neutral, matte eye shadows, I really recommend giving these a go especially for everyday use.

Have you guys tried this palette and what are your thoughts? Also, I am looking at getting one of the Naked palettes, which one do you guys recommend?

Currently Lusting After..

I walked into Terry White Chemist today during my lunch break only to walk past the Kora Organic skincare. This line of skincare is by Miranda Kerr a now ex-Victoria Secret model and a fellow Australian. Kora is a fully organic and natural skincare range with a mission to, "Provide optimal quality certified organic formulas to nourish, rejuvenate, beautify and transform the skin." I had heard that this range was available but didn't look more into it because at that stage I was not as into skincare as I am now. After reading many reviews on this range, I can safely say I am keen to get my grubby paws on this entire line and all its beautiful packaging. As well as this, I am willing to give anything a go that has Miranda Kerr and her amazing beauty attached to it and is also made in Australia and sold exclusively here because I very rarely can find Australian beauty products that I love and as a result end up paying out a fortune for overseas brands.

Unfortunately it's not the cheapest skincare around as you can probably guess, and with me trying to save as much as possible I am so conflicted as to whether to just bite the bullet and buy it, or stick to my budget and wait. Having said that, I think I might start with one product and see how that goes before buying and insane amount from the line. I'm sure I will keep you all updated when I finally cave and buy some of these products to tell you how much I love or hate these products.

Have you tried anything from the Kora Organic Skincare line?

NOTD - Innoxa Nail Polish

I am loving this nail polish at the moment, I picked it up from Myer last week along with another Innoxa polish (because I couldn't choose between the two) in the big 'end of financial' year sale they always have. These nail polishes retail at $13.95 each but I managed to get them for $6.00 each, that's a bargain I tell ya! This shade is called Grape which I think is very appropriate because it looks like a grape colour in my opinion. I really like this shade, its a really nice red-dy purple colour that I think could be worn all through the year, and I don't have anything like it in my collection which is always nice.

The nail polishes are the first things I have tried from the brand Innoxa and I'm very impressed. The nail polish goes on really nice and smooth and is pretty opaque compared to some nail polishes I have tried, but you still need two coats to make it fully opaque. The brush that goes with it is quite small so it does take a few goes to cover the entire nail, but I don't mind cause it actually helps me to be more precise when I paint my nails. I've only had this nail polish on for a couple of days but so far it has held out very well, just a couple of chips at the top of the nail as a result of having to use my nails on the touch screens all day at work, which is pretty good!

I am really happy with how this nail polish is wearing and how the formula is and I think I would buy more of these considering they are pretty cheap for a nail polish, especially in Australia.

Have you tried these nail polishes or anything from the brand Innoxa?

My First Mac Lipstick

Until recently I didn't spend a lot of money on make-up and never really bought high end products, instead I bought drug-store products and hoped that it would be enough. In some cases it is enough, but I am really getting into higher end products just because more often they actually are the better products, go figure, right? Anyway, this year I bought my first Mac product, the Studio Finish concealer and really wanted to try the lipsticks because everyone raves about them and every beauty blogger needs a Mac lipstick right? After seeing people wear the colour Rebel on people I immediately wanted it. On the Mac website the colour is described as a vivid pinkish purple which I agree with. I am a really big fan of berry/purple lipsticks, I love the way they look.

Rebel is a satin finish which is a semi matte finish but it still moisturising which I need because my lips a basically dry all year round. This stays on for quite a long time and leaves a stain on the lips that makes it last for longer.

I really like the lipstick, I like the way it looks and the way it feels because it doesn't dry my lips out. I am really happy I bought this lipstick and that it was my first Mac lipstick. I really want to try more Mac lipsticks and the different formulations.

What are your favourite Mac lipstick and formulation? Any recommendations for my next Mac purchase?

June Favourites

Considering June was the first proper month of being in the blogger community I thought it would be nice to celebrate my first full month and sit down and tell you about some of the things I have been loving through my first month as a blogger. So let's get started.

I'll start with skincare because there's only one skincare favourite this month.

Origins Make a Difference Plus Rejuvenating Treatment: I mentioned this in my Seven Deadly Sins of Beauty tag that I did and I've been using this for over a week and I am pretty impressed with it. I think it's starting to (slowly) fade my acne scars! And I think its making my skin a little bit more plump and glowing, which is what it's meant to do. I will have to keep using it to see if I can see any more improvements to the skin.

Now onto the make-up favourites for the month.

Topshop cream blush in head over heels and Stila cream blush in lilium: This month I have been getting really into cream blushes because they are so quick and easy to apply which is something I love for on the day to day make-up application. Both of these cream blushes have been making their into my make-up regime. I think I actually like the formula of the Topshop blush over the Stila blush which is good because it's over half the price! I love it when that happens, don't you?

Maybelline the Falsies Mascara: I love this mascara, I use it every day and it makes my lashes so volumized  and big. This is such a cult mascara, and if you haven't given it a go, you definitely should because it seriously is worth it.

Jouer Matte Moisture Tint in Porcelain: I bought this because it was so hyped up and at the moment I'm not a fan of really full coverage foundations because I want my skin to get better and I feel full coverage foundations aren't great for that. This is a really nice foundation, it feels kind of like a mousse and I wouldn't say its completely matte, but it stays on my face for most of the day so I don't mind.

The Balm Rockstar Palette: I really like The Balm products, and this is no exception. This has 12 different eyeshadows, the much talked about Mary-Lou Manizer which is an amazing highlighter, Frat Boy blush and two lip glosses. I love the highlighter and the blush and a few of the eyeshadows. I also like the names of the eyeshadows are all related to music which is cool considering its the rockstar palette. I really like experimenting with all the different products and I love being able to try all these different products without buying the full size.

A non beauty favourite.

A Typo pencil case - Let's Blog Some Shit: I only bought this today when I went shopping with a friend but I thought it was super cool and it's already a favourite so I thought I would include it anyway. Typo is a really quirky and cool shop that sells stationary and house ware things, I love going in there and seeing all the latest things. I saw this today and fell in love with it and thought it would be perfect to celebrate my first month of blogging.

I just want to squeeze in one last non beauty favourite.

The Little Mermaid Necklace: For as long as I can remember I have loved The Little Mermaid and all the songs that come with it. My friend and I went to see Disney on Ice last Thursday and I saw this necklace and knew I had to get it so I can be wearing Ariel whenever I want. She doesn't really have a face because they didn't paint it on, but I still love it and have been wearing it every day since.

Well that's it for my first ever monthly favourites, I just want to thank you guys for reading and following my blog throughout my first month, I've really enjoyed blogging and I hope I'll be bringing you more content for a long time.

Liebster Awards

So I am actually surprised one person nominated me for a Liebster Award, let alone two people, considering I have only been blogging for about a month. The two ladies who nominated me are Daphne from Peanut Butter and Chocolate Life and Ash from Actually Ash, both of these lovely ladies have awesome blogs which I LOVE reading, so go check them out for yourselves. So because I have been nominated twice I thought I would answer both sets of questions in one post, I'll try to keep it short and sweet.

Here are the rules for the awards:
You must link back the person who nominated you.
You must answer the 10 Liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you.
You must pick 10 bloggers to be nominated for the award with under 200 followers .
You must come up with 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
You must go to their blogs and notify your nominees.

First I'll start with Daphne's questions:

1. What are your three summer essentials?
A light foundation/tinted moisturiser, Lucas' paw-paw ointment, and moisturiser.

2. What would be your dream pet: an unicorn, a dragon, or a griffin?
Probably a unicorn, just because they are so majestic and mystical.

3. What's your favourite book and how has it changed you?
I'm not a massive book reader but I did read My Sister's Keeper and it's the only book that I have ever cried throughout it, it was such a beautiful book. (I also need to read A Fault in the Stars which I have heard is awesome).

4. When was the last time you laughed so hard, your stomach hurt?
Saturday night/ Sunday morning. It was my friends 18th and most of us at her party stayed the night and I was lying on top of a couple of friends and every time they laughed I could feel their whole body shake which make me laugh so much my stomach hurt.

5. What are the three favourite things you have in your room?
My wall with all my photo's on it, my make-up draw (typical) and my bed, the most comfortable place ever.

6. Name five people that you want to have dinner with and why. They can be dead or alive, fictional or real.
Ed Sheeran because he is pure genius in every way, Andy Samberg because I think he is hilarious, Amy Poehler because she is so funny and I love her in Parks and Rec and she seems like such a nice person, Hamish and Andy (I count them as one person because they basically are) because they are one of the best things in Australian comedy and also Channing Tatum, just because he is hot as hell.

7. If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?
That I could be a bit more outgoing and not to be as concerned of what people think.

8. What are the words you live by?
Try and be positive about most things, no one likes it when someone is negative all the time.

9. If you had the chance, what advice would you give to your 13-year-old self?
Takes more chances and try new things.

10. You're a rockstar, what song would you sing at your concert?
Hmm, that's a tough one, anything fun and upbeat.

Now for Ash's questions:

1. Who is your celebrity style icon?
I don't really have one, but I've always admired Lauren Conrad's style.

2. If you could only wear one nail polish colour for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hmm, That's tough, but probably a coral colour, maybe Opi's Cajun Shrimp that's the sort colour I wear most often.

3. Favourite singer/band?
I am totally in love with Ed Sheeran in every way.

4. Favourite scent?
It has to be Daisy by Marc Jacobs, or maybe a vanilla scent, I'm obsessed with anything that smells like vanilla.

5. Twitter or Instagram?
I'm a twitter gal for sure.

6. What movie could you watch over & over again without getting bored?
Probably 500 days of summer, it's just such a cute movie, but there are so many movies I will never get enough of, mainly Disney movies, the little mermaid in particular, my favourite of all time.

7. Is fashion, make up or hair more important to you?
Umm, I would have to say make-up is probably the most important in my eyes, but they are all important as each other.

8. Gold or silver jewellery?
Silver silver silver!

9. Favourite online shopping websites?
Asos, strawberrynet, beautybay

10. If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go? Why?
Europe for sure, in particular England, mostly because my Mum is from there and I just want to immerse myself in the country.

My Questions:
1. What is your favourite make up brand?
2. What is your favourite season in the year?
3. Where is your favourite place on earth?
4. What is the one thing you could never give up?
5. What is your all time favourite shop?
6. Are you a morning or night person?
7. What's your favourite scent?
8. What's one thing you want to do before you die?
9. Are you a pants or dresses/skirts kind of girl?
10. What's the one piece of advice you want to give your readers?

I Nominate:
Nikki from Fairest Favourites
Jasmine from Jasmine Cara
Trina from Trina Wears
Ash from Beautiful Living
Bec from Bec and Beauty
Zoe from Writing Whimsy
Shannon from Shannon Marina

Caviar Nails

I had been wanting to try Ciate nail polishes for ages, every time I walk past Kit Cosmetics I lust over them so much. So yesterday I was walking through Myer, spending to much in Mac and walked past this, and in a moment of weakness bought it. It cost $36 (AUS) which I thought was fairly reasonable considering single nail polishes are $20 each.

This is a limited edition one, although I think all the caviar nails might be limited edition, and the caviar pearls are called tutti fruitti and the pale pink nail polish it comes with it called hoopla. And it comes with a little funnel to tip the pearls back bottle when they go everywhere so you don't waste any, Thanks Ciate!

Hoopla and Tutti Fruitti

To do these nails, you put a coat of nail polish on and then one nail at a time put another coat of polish on and tip the beads onto the nail and press them on so they stay on better.

I love the look and feel of these when you first put them on because it's such a novelty to have tiny beads on your nails. However, maybe it was just how I applied them, they started falling off an hour later, but that may have been because I was immersed in the State of Origin and not really concentrating, and also I have a shower 45 minutes after I applied them, Whoops. I think next time I put them on I might do the nails one at a time because I completely blanked and did a couple at a time, which probably didn't help. The one thing I didn't mind about them falling off is that they left a colourful indent in my nails, which is cool and at least they don't just fall off and leave no trace of the pearls on the nails.

I do love these nails, I think they are super fun, but I do think they are only really for special occasions when you won't be using you hands a lot. Having said that, if I applied them better they would last longer. I also love the packaging on the nail polishes, the bows and the shape of the pot are really unique. Overall, these pearls are super fun to play around with and I think they look really cool and put a new twist on painting your nails.

Have you guys tried the nail pearls? How did they work out for you?

The Seven Deadly Sins of Beauty

Today's post is going to be a beauty tag, the seven deadly sins of beauty tag. I was tagged by the lovely Daphne who has an awesome blog that you should all go and check out. This is my first post that I have been tagged to do, how exciting! Lets get started.

Why not incorporate Disney princesses into this tag?

So here's how it works:
1) Follow and link up the person who tagged you
2) Answer the questions on greed, wrath, gluttony, sloth, pride, lust and envy.
3) Tag as many people as you wish! Be sure to let them know!
4) Let the person who tagged you know that you did the tag by linking up in the comments!

Greed- What is your most expensive product?

This a new addition to my collection, but I am so excited to give it ago, considering how much Kate from gh0stparties talks about it. I am hoping that it will hydrate my skin and even out my skin because I have some scarring. I'll do a review on this later.

Sloth- What product do you neglect the most due to laziness?

It has to be eyeshadow, although I am trying to use it more cause what the point of having it if I don't use it? I only really put one colour over the lid still though but maybe eventually I might put more than one colour. I also don't really use bronzer, mostly because I haven't fully worked out how to use it properly yet.

Wrath- What product do you have a love/hate relationship with?

I would say liquid eyeliner is my love/hate product. Some days it can look fairly neat and tidy, well as neat as I can get it, and other days it just goes all over my eyelid and doesn't look good. I have been starting to use gel liner and its definitely easier but I still have those "this is terrible!" days.

Gluttony- What brand makes up most of your make-up collection?
I would have to say that Maybelline and Revlon are tied for the prize of which brand makes up most of my collection. However, I have a lot of make-up from many different brands, I'm not very loyal to brands I just buy whatever I have heard is good or want to try. These two brands just so happen to take up some room in the make-up collection.

Pride- Which product gives you the most confidence?

It has got to be concealer, it can just cover up any imperfection and make me feel so much better. And with my scarring I get so attached to it because it can cover them up. At the moment I am using the Mac studio finish concealer in NW 20 which is a little bit too dark at the moment but otherwise, I love this concealer.

Lust- Which beauty item is at the top of your wish list?

Probably the Laura Mercier silk creme foundation because I hear about how good it is so much and I am constantly on a quest for my perfect foundation. This isn't that expensive compared to some other products you can get but it's $60 here in Australia and I just need to work up the courage to take that much out of already empty bank account.

Envy- What make-up product/look is great on others but not yourself?

I love bold lips and I love the way they look on me, especially corals but I just can't get red lipstick to look good on me. I don't have the whitest teeth so I think I need to find a blue tone red lipstick and see if that helps. I also have trouble with it looking neat because it goes all over my lips and spills out the side, which could also probably be fixed with a liner, but I just haven't gotten around to fixing those problems.

I tag:
Shannon from shannonmaria
Janine from Thee Optimist
Ash from Beautiful Living
Jessi from Jessi in Wonderland
Ana from Ana Vargas blog
Jessica from Miss Forever Vanity
And anyone else who wants to do this tag!
Check out these lovely ladies' blogs while you're at it, they run awesome blogs.

June Bella Box

I've been getting the Bella Box every month for about 8 months now, and while I'm not always totally impressed with them, I still continue hoping that I will get some new stuff to try and also because I love trying new products and coming home after work and ripping into it to see the goodies inside. I received the June box today and I have to say, I am very impressed with this months box even though I was disappointed because when I got home the package I really wanted hadn't arrived. So I thought I would share what I got inside the box.

To start out with, I opened it and immediately say that there was a sigma brush inside, which I have been wanting to try ever since I started watching YouTube videos about make up, It the E25 blending brush so I'm super keen to use that.

Next up, I saw this lip gloss and opened it up and was amazed at how sparkly it was and how pretty it looked in the container. It's a brand called Street Gloss, which I have never heard of before but nice packaging ALWAYS sucks me in. I quickly put it on just so I could write a bit about it, and it looks pretty on the lips and feels really nice on the lips, although it is a bit sticky, but certainly not the most sticky lip gloss I've ever used. Definitely excited about that one.

There is also a red nail polish by Natio which looks really nice, I don't actually have a red nail polish so this is a plus. And I have never tried Natio, has anyone tried it? Is it good quality?

Next up is this Toni & Guy Texturising Glue, I'm not to sure how to use this but by the name I assume it holds you hair in place while building texture. I will interested to see how/if that works.

There is always a face mask by Montsgne Jeunesse which I have tried before, it's alright, I wouldn't say I love it, but I'll give it a go.

.
There is also an assortment of lotions, washes and scrubs by Brazillian Butterfly which will be good to try.

And Lastly, two emergin C products which I haven't heard a lot about but I gather it's quite an expensive brand, so I will give that a go.

All in all, I am really happy with this months box, there is lots of things I am really excited to test and use.

Do you get sample/beauty boxes?

Tv Obsession

I know this is a beauty blog and this isn't a beauty post, but I am a massive fan of TV and I thought I would share a  TV show that I'm currently obsessed with called Cuckoo.

It is a British TV show that stars Andy Samberg who I personally LOVE! It also has the actress who played Emily, Ross's very short-lived wife in Friends. What more could you ask for? Andy plays a character who is very different and unusual or "cuckoo", which just so happens to be the name of the character. What a coincidence! The story line follows a British girl who travels overseas meets and marries Cuckoo to then bring them back to England to live with her parents. It is a really funny and clever show, but anything with Andy Samberg is funny in my opinion, dude is hilarious!

Andy Samberg as Cuckoo

There is only one season so far and it only consists of 6 episodes much to my sadness. Why do British TV shows have to have such short seasons? However, there are more episodes coming out later this year which I am hanging to see.

So how about you guys, what shows are you currently obsessed with?

Soap and Glory

I don't know about you, but I am personally in love with the soap and glory range, its probably my favourite body care brand. They can just create the most amazing smells and create amazing products all wrapped up into one. It you haven't ever smelt any of the soap and glory stuff, you're missing out and you NEED to go smell them. AH-MAZING! I've only tried the the righteous body butter, the flake away body scrub, the clean on me shower gel and the hand food hand cream and I am totally in love with all of them (especially the smell of the clean on me gel).

Unfortunately you can't get the full range of soap and glory products in Australia, mainly because it's a British brand and Australia is SO slow to get new products in. But I do want to try the one heck of a blot powder which I have heard a lot about, so I guess it's off to Ebay to find that!

What are your favourite products from soap and glory? Are you as obsessed with the smells as I am?

John Frieda - Frizz-Ease

Hey Guys!
I haven't used any other products from the Frizz-Ease line, however, I received this in a sample box a few months ago and can safely say that this stuff is awesome. While I don't have particularly frizzy hair, everyone experiences some sort of frizz throughout their life, unless you have perfect hair, in which case you are EXTREMELY lucky. I will use this on days where my hair just isn't doing what I want (which is most days) and have a bit of frizz. This stuff really stops and controls frizz and it's really simple to use, super handy when you are in a rush and don't want to tame the frizz. All you need is a pea size of this product and it manages to de-frizz my hair. However I have quite thin and like I said not overly frizzy hair, so I don't know how much product you would need or if this would work for people with thick and very frizzy hair, but for me, its perfect. This is just the sample size which is a perfect size to fit into your handbag and carry around just in case of a hair emergency like that pesky rain. The other thing I love about this product is the smell, it smells amazing, and I know that if something smells good I am more likely to continue using it.

Have you tried this product? Does it work for you, or is it a complete flop?
Let me know! I love hearing your thoughts.

Sally Hansen - Jaded

The other day my friend and I went into Priceline and I did my best not to spend any money, but we spotted that the Sally Hansen nail polishes were buy one get one free and with a bargain like that, how could you resist? I decided that I didn't have any greeny/bluey nail polishes so I thought I would pick some of those up. One of the colours I picked up was jaded which a minty green colour which I really like, and surprisingly I don't have anything like. I know it is going into winter in Australia at the moment and this really isn't a winter colour  but I still will probably wear it just because it is such a nice colour.

Pro's:
- The colour is really nice
- The finish of the polish is really smooth and shiny
- It dried really quickly (which is awesome because I hate waiting)
- It lasts quite a long time
- I've had it on for a few of days and no chipping at the top like most nail polishes
- Pretty inexpensive ($14.95 AU)

Con's
- The smell is quite strong
- Pretty sheer and takes a few coats to become opaque

Overall I love this nail polish and am defineaely going to try some other Sally Hansen nail polishes soon.

Have you tried the Sally Hansen polishes and do you like them? What is your favourite shade from the range?

My top three lipsticks

There are three lipsticks that I absolutely love and reach for the most. They are, Maybelline Colour Sensational the Vivids in hot plum, Bobbi Brown in plum rose and Revlon Lip Butter in berry smoothie. I am a massive fan of plum and berry colours so surprise surprise these are all plummy colours..
L-R - Maybelline Vivids, Bobbi Brown, Revlon Lip Butter

Maybelline Colour Sensational Vivids - Hot Plum: This is the boldest colour of the three, and the one with a name that doesn't really match the colour. While it looks more plum in the packaging, when you swatch it, it comes out more hot pink. However, I am still totally in love with this colour in every way. It last a fairly long time but you still need need to re-apply throughout the day. If you haven't checked out the range definitely go to your nearest store and check them out, they are sure to brighten your day! I absolutely love the Vivids range, all the colours are so bright and fun and can instantly put me in a good mood, and any lipstick that can do that is a winner in my book!

Bobbi Brown - Plum Rose:  This my favourite winter colour and because its coming into winter in Australia I can finally whip this out and get lots of use out of it. As you can see, I'm a massive fan of the plum colours so when I saw this I was immediately attracted to it. It lasts quite a long time, however like most lipsticks, it does need to be re-applied throughout the day particularly after eating or talking for a long time. This isn't the most moisturising lipstick but it certainly isn't drying, its just the perfect middle ground. The other day I was wearing this at work and a customer asked what brand my lipstick was, so I know that it is a good colour if people want to know where it's from. I will be pulling this lipstick out very regularly over the next couple of months.

Revlon Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie: This lipstick is my favourite of the favourites lipstick, I find myself reaching for this lipstick most days because its such a wearable and versatile colour. As most of you probably know, the lip butters are sheer and moisturising and are almost like a balm rather than a lipstick. I think that's what makes me like it so much, aside from being plum, is that it doesn't really require a lot of effort to put it on, you just slap it on and you're raring to go. It's perfect for day to day make-up when you don't want a tonne of lipstick but still want a pop of colour. It's also a very moisturising lipstick which is perfect for anyone who suffer from dry lips, something that I suffer from. It doesn't have the best long wear on it, but if it's more of a balm texture I wouldn't expect it to. If you haven't checked out the lip butters, I recommend you do, I am in love with them.

Current Favourite - Sleek Blush!

My favourite blush at the moment has got to be a Sleek Blush in the colour Pomegranate. I'm sure everyone has heard about the Sleek blushes and how good they are, but they are really good.

I would say that this colour is a raspberry colour with a fair bit of shimmer but it doesn't look to shimmery once you put it on the cheeks.

This blush is the one I reach for the most, mostly because it is such a natural colour and so easy to put on. Sleek blushes do have a reputation for being super super pigmented so you need to use a light hand.

Let me know which blushes you are currently loving at the moment.
